BASIS

BAIÀ! is a Brazilian cold-pressed juice brand developed as part of a packaging and branding project. From the beginning, I wanted the brand to feel fresh, natural, and energetic something that would stand out from typical juice packaging. I knew immediately that I didn’t want to design a can. Instead, I was drawn to the idea of a small glass bottle, similar to morning wellness shots, to emphasize purity, simplicity, and health. This direction helped shape the overall identity and guided the decisions I made throughout the project.

VISION

My vision for BAIÀ! was bold, vibrant, and tropical. Because Brazilian flavours are naturally colourful and lively, I wanted the visual identity to reflect that same energy. I chose a palette of bright pink, blue, and green intentionally pushing myself out of my comfort zone, since I rarely work with such saturated tones. The overall goal was to create a fun, youthful brand that captured the freshness of cold-pressed ingredients while still feeling modern and clean.

PROCESS

The project began with refining the packaging concept and experimenting with different shapes for the glass bottle. Once I established the structure, I moved into colour exploration and illustration development. Illustration was one of the most challenging parts of the project; I redesigned the fruit icons multiple times because they didn’t match the vibrant, playful energy I envisioned. Through trial and revision, I eventually created illustrations that felt expressive, organic, and aligned with the brand’s tropical inspiration.

Throughout the process, I focused on keeping the ingredients minimal and clean, reflecting the honesty and transparency of cold-pressed juice. Typography, layout, and colour all worked together to build a cohesive and energetic identity.

OUTCOME

The final BAIÀ! packaging successfully communicates a lively, tropical attitude while still feeling fresh and modern. The bright palette paired with expressive illustrations helps the brand stand out visually, and the glass bottle reinforces the idea of purity and quality. Even though illustration was initially a challenge, it became one of the most rewarding components of the final design.

Overall, the project feels unified, colourful, and true to its Brazilian theme.
